MFD071219 Under Construction...

I just set this up to test out the latest Exponent release.  Lots of minor improvements in it from a few years ago, and its great to see the project active again.

Probably I will never have time to put much of a website here and there is a strong possibility that the website might look like this for years to come.

MFD081227 The new exponent seems to be working well.

Pyramid Schemes

Maybe I'm confused a bit, but my classical economics training says that chickens come home to roost?

In otherwords, if a nation spends 30+ years (because of a greedy/spoiled) 'me' generation sellling the cows to buy milk, at some point, the accounts need to be reconciled?

Guess who gets to pay?

Best I can tell, the last honest guy in Washington DC finally gave up.  Hopefully, with a new administration (2008), they will try to and square things up.  Nonetheless, I have diminsihing faith in this process that we call 'democracy' as long as legal entities that have no voting rights are entitled to give huge amounts to candidate elections while common ciitizens are disallowed from doing the same.

Corporations are governmentally chartered entities.  The courts have been clear in the past that their rights are limited, and also fully subject to governmental control.  There is an abomination in this country that non-citizens are allowed to contribute to campaigns for the elections of officials that represent the public.
